Privacy policy

Only what you type into our enquiry form: your renewal timing, a short description of your business or property, the cover types you select, an optional indication of what you pay now, plus your name, mobile number, email address and postcode. We also record the date and time of your enquiry and which page you submitted it from.

Each enquiry is passed to one selected FCA-authorised insurance firm, who will contact you by phone or email about your enquiry. We do not sell your details to lists, lead pools or call centres. That firm becomes an independent data controller for the details we pass on and handles your information under its own privacy notice.

Consent. You give it by ticking the consent box on the enquiry form. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing us — withdrawal doesn’t affect anything done before you withdrew.

We keep enquiry records for 24 months so we can evidence your consent and handle any queries or complaints, then delete them.

Under UK GDPR you can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, ask us to erase it (the right to erasure), object to or restrict processing, and withdraw consent. Email us and we’ll action it within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

We use only what’s needed to run the site and to measure advertising performance. We don’t use your enquiry details for anything other than passing them to the specialist firm.
